Here's the top highlights of the "New Education Policy" :

(A) HIGHER EDUCATION

1. The NEP 2020 has aimed to increase the Gross Enrollment Ratio to 50% by 2035. GER measures enrollment as percentage of a specific age-group of the population. According to the reports, the higher education GER (18-20 age group) in India for the year 2018-19 is 26.3%.

2. Holistic and Multidisciplinary Education: This reform into the education policy introduces education as a holistic, multi-disciplinary approach with flexibility of subjects and multiple entry/exit system.
  • UG Program: 3-4 years
  • PG Program: 1-2 years
  • Integrated 5 year Bachelor's / Masters's
  • M Phil to be discontinued

3. Academic Bank of Credits: This point can be understood as a parallel of a saving account in bank wherein all the grades or credits of the student from first to third/fourth as per the program will be saved using DigiLocker as the medium which will be counted in the final degree earned.

4. The National Research Foundation (NRF) will be created for fostering a strong research culture and building researching capacity among the higher education.

5. A Higher Education Council of India (HECI) will be setup as a single body regulating and taking decisions for the entire education system, excluding  medical and legal education.

6. National Educational Technology Forum (NETF) : This new forum will be created where private sector, government sector, educationists and technologists are aimed to be collected at one place for the efficient of use of technology in the education such as: virtual labs, education planning, teaching, learning and assessment, administration and management, regulation- self disclosure and minimum human interface.

7. Various other reforms are also taken for the higher education in our country such as: MERU, graded autonomy, phasing out affiliation system, national mission on mentoring, single BoG, online self-disclosure system in place of inspections, common norms of public and private HEIs, public investment in education sector to reach 6% of GDP, increasing access for disadvantage groups, divyang friendly education software and digitally equipping schools, teachers and students.

(B) SCHOOL EDUCATION

1. Universalization of ECCE: The NEP 2020 has kept all the provisions to ensure universal access to school education at all level from pre to secondary along with attaining foundational literacy and numeracy to integrate 21st century skills, mathematical thinking and scientific temper.

2. The 10+2 structure of school curricula is to be replaced by as 5+3+3+4 curricular structure corresponding to ages 3-8, 8-11, 11-14 and 14-18 years respectively. NCERT will develop a framework of the early education of children up to the age of 8.

3. According to the NEP 2020 there will be no rigid separation between  Arts & Sciences, between curricular and extra-curricular activities, between vocational and educational streams.

4. Assessment reforms: The Union cabinet has decided to shift the school examination system from summative assessment to a more competency-based regular assessment. Wherein instead of writing exams every year, students will give exams in only three classes 3, 5 and 8 which tests analysis, critical thinking and conceptual clarity. Board exams for 10 and 12 standards will continue, but redesigned with "holistic development" as the aim.

5. A new national assessment center, PARAKH (Performance, Assessment, Review and Analysis of Knowledge for Holistic Developmet), will be set-up as a standard setting-body.

6. Other reforms taken for the school education includes: education of gifted children, gender inclusion fund, KGBVs up to Grade 12, reduction in curriculum to core concepts, vocational integration from class 6 onwards, tracking student progress for achieving learning outcomes, book promotion policy and digital libraries, transparent online self-disclosure for public oversight and accountability and implementing common standards of learning in public and private schools.

1. Have a dedicated space for study
Studies show that having an area that is exclusively for your study maximizes your learning. Your brain will catch sooner if you will study at the same place regularly. As soon as you'll enter that area, your brain will automatically go in "study-mode".
Next tip that I'll add here is that.., it will be more effective if you study on table i.e., desk-chair setup because we all know studying on bed is not a good idea (especially with people like me as I go in sleep-mode when studying on bed). If you don't have one and want to buy then try out this link: Pepperfry .

2. Ensure proper lighting
Studying in dim light will exacerbate eye-strain and will also hamper your study sessions as you will not be able to focus. So invest in good lightning lamps which can be easily placed on your study desk and does not occupy much space of your table.
If you're not interested in buying a lamp then you can also go for natural light. Place your table in front of a window that directly adds light to your study room. But sometimes studying in front of a window also leads to distractions as you'll be tempting to stare out of the window every now and then (generally happens with me.., so I prefer translucent lights over natural one). You can choose any one of these that works well for you.

3. Keep things at your hand
As the name suggests, place all your notes and stationery items within your reach so that you don't have to wake up again and again to get the things. You can do this by keeping all your folders in the drawers given in your table. If there is no such drawers then you can buy some vertical storage holders for keeping all your things in a more organized way.
Check out this link for storage holders: Flipkart .

4. Study Essentials
Apart from books, notebooks, pens and pencils there are a lot of things that a student must take care of. This list consists of a clock- to track the time, a calendar-to mark all your exam dates, third a calculator- if you're someone who struggles with numerical (like me) then keep a calculator at the very hand. Next also have some post-it notes- to write important points in your textbooks and lastly also keep a diary with you for making your to-do lists and tracking your days.

5. Decorate to Motivate
Last but not the least, make your study room a little inspiring one; place some natural plants on your desk, paste some motivating quotes on the wall or you can also stick your family photo because family inspires and motivates us the most to do well in academics as well as in life!!

Final words: I hope this article helped you to know how you can create a productive study space. Since online classes are at boon these days so I would suggest everyone to renovate your study room.

Remember the days..) when a message was used to be delivered only via physical mode i.e. the person had to carry the message from one place to another...but now the time has completely changed. With the advancement in technology, now we not only can send / receive message just at one tap at any place in the world but we also have access to high-definition video calls, games, radio-broadcast and other things. All this works on the principle of electronics communication system..,but what it is? Exploring below you will find answers to all your questions:

communication system, communication, communication systems, system, communications system, communication system basics, communication system in hindi, communication system class 12,how communication system works, communication system lectures, fit for all communication system, communication system engineering, communication system class 12 cbse, communication system block diagram, communications, communication system class 12 physics, electronic communication systems, communication systems by shiksha house

1. What is meant by communication in electronics?
In simple terms, communication is defined as the process of transfer of information from one place to another.,or from sender to receiver via suitable medium or communication channel which could be wired or wireless.
Example of wired channels are: co-axial, fiber-optic, and twisted pair cables etc.
Examples of wireless channels are: radio, satellite, infrared etc.

2. Introduction to a Communication system
A block diagram of electronics communication system can be represented as follows:

Block diagram of communication system
source: google

  1. Information Source: The source originates the message that needs to be transferred.,it can be speech, image, video, text etc.
  2. Input Transducer: It is a device that converts a non-electrical data into an electrical waveform known as baseband or message signal. An example of this is microphone which converts audio input like speech to an electrical signal.
  3. Transmitter: The transmitter modifies the baseband signal for efficient transmission. In general, the transmitter modulates or changes some parameter say, amplitude, frequency or phase of a high-frequency carrier signal by low-frequency signal i.e., baseband signal. Transmitter also does multiplexing.
  4. Channel: Channel is the media by which information is sent. It could be wired or wireless (as stated above).
  5. Receiver: Receiver reprocesses the signal received from the channel by undoing the signal modifications made at the transmitter end.
  6. Output Transducer: The receiver output is fed to the output transducer which converts the electrical signal to its original form.

3. Types of Communication Systems
Depending on the signal specification communication systems are of two types:

1. Analog Communication System: It is the technology which uses analog signal for the transmission of information. Error probability in such systems is high due to parallax. Example of analog signals are: voice, sound etc.

2. Digital Communication System: It is the technology which uses digital signal for the transmission of information. These systems have low error probability. Digital signals (binary data) are used in computers.

4. Terminologies related with Communication

1. Noise: Noise can be defined as a random, unwanted interference on transmitted signal.
External Noise: As the name suggests, are the interference from other sources like lightning, electrical switching, automobile ignition etc.
Internal Noise: It is due to thermal motion of electrons or random emission, diffusion, recombination of carriers.

2. Distortion: It is the process of changing shape of the communicating signal that may mislead the destination about the content of the message.

3. Attenuation: The loss in amplitude or strength of the signal as it travels through a channel is called attenuation.

4. Bandwidth: Bandwidth in Hz (Hertz) refers to the range of frequencies in a signal or the range of frequencies that can pass through a channel.

5. Modulation: It is the process which causes a shift in the range of frequencies in a signal.

6. Demodulation: The process of recovering the original signal from the modulated signal is referred as the demodulation or detection.

7. Baseband signal: Message signal without any modulation i.e.., in actual form is known as baseband signal.

8. Carrier signal: It is the high-frequency signal which carries the information.

5. Example of Communication systems
  • Internet
  • Television
  • Public Switched Telephone Network
  • Intranet and Extranet

Final words: I hope this article helped you to know about the communication systems in electronics.

With everything going digital, our lives have become more dependent on the electronic gadgets and especially on smartphones and laptops. And it's high time that we organize our lives to increase our productivity, the same way our smartphone require to be decluttered to maximize its functioning.

how to declutter your phone, declutter your phone, simple ways to declutter your phone, how to declutter your phone for 2020,phone declutter, iphone declutter, declutter, declutter your iphone, declutter your phone 2020,ways to declutter your phone, tips to declutter your phone, how to declutter your iphone, declutter your phone for 2020,best way to declutter your phone, easy ways to declutter your iphone, tips and tricks declutter your phone, simple ways to declutter your iphone, declutter iphone

So, the overall credit goes to Marie Kondo who introduced the concept of decluttering. She is a Japanese organizing consultant, author and a TV host. Her basic idea about decluttering is that "discard everything that does not spark joy". Her best-selling book " Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up " explains all about organizing and now this book is also a popular Netflix show called, Tidying Up with Marie Kondo.
The simplest way to organize and declutter a smartphone based on Konmari method is explained below:

1. Uninstall unnecessary Apps
How many times does it happen with you that you download an app and don't use it frequently or maybe you just stop using it? Cleaning out such apps that are no longer useful to you not only cleans out the space in your phone's memory but also makes it work faster and hassle fee.
But who is having time to go through all the apps just to find out an app which is not useful to us?
Well with the advancement of technology, you need not to worry about it as there are plenty of methods to make this happen. In almost all the androids there is an option of "application management" from where you can track your apps usage...,on the basis of frequency and time. And if this option is not available in your phone you can also download apps for this purpose like: Quality Time.

Apart from this, once in at least 15 days you can go through your phone to clear the cache memory, duplicate files, junk files etc.

2. Make separate folders for organizing apps
Creating separate folders makes it more easier to access the things in time. You can make folders and organize your apps based on the usage, or by category or alphabetically, whatever eases you. I find it easy to keep my most important apps on the home screen like: Gmail and Chrome and the other stuff in separate folders based on category.
It's completely up to you which way you choose to organize your things and make your life more easy based on Konmari method.

3. Make use of Cloud storage for backup
This is quite self-explanatory that you can backup your photos on Google Photos and all your files in Google Drive in android phones. But what after that, yes then even if you delete all those backed up files and photos, they will remain in that cloud stoarge and you can access them anytime.
Some of the best cloud services in 2020 are: Cloud Services .

4. Organize your notes
As we all know, notepad is also one of the most frequently used applications or features in smartphones. Like earlier, my notes list used to be unorganized and messy and to extract the important notes out of that mess was such an irritating work to do. How many of you go through this..?
Here are some of the tips to manage your notes list are:
  • Make labels: This is an easy and effective technique to use where you can use labels to organize your notes like.., #Personal, # Work, # College...etc.
  • Go colorful: In addition to labels, start using different colors to distinguish things easily.
  • Pin it: Another option that you can opt for is to pin some of the important notes to access them easily.
  • Archive the unused: As the name suggests, archive those notes that you don't find useful at the moment but may need in future. Doing this will make your current list of notes look quite tidy and ordered.
  • Set Reminders: This is an amazing feature to use, it helps you complete your tasks on the go by reminding you of doing them. Like, if you're busy in your work at office, college or at any place and forget to do an important call or a mail for this you can use these reminders and they will simply save you from being irresponsible in the eyes of someone else.

5. Manage your Email Inbox
How many of you get stressed with those unnecessary emails? Well we all do this and it's normal too. Here are the tricks and tips to get out of it:
  • Unsubscribe from all those emails that no longer are important to you.
  • Create labels to keep your emails organized and you can even use colors for more clarity.

6. Simplify your You tube Subscriptions
If you ask me I have more than 30 subscriptions in my YouTube app and whenever I open my YouTube Subscribed channels list, it shows the name of each and every channel. Sometimes it also becomes so frustrating to find the channel in that whole list and when we also don't remember it by name.  To tackle this there is a chrome extension called PocketTube. I personally find it very useful to manage YouTube subscriptions as it allows me to make folders and sort out the channels very easily.
I highly recommend this for you to give it a try: PocketTube.

7. Turn off Notifications
Okay, so how many times it happens with you that when you access the Internet you're flooded with notifications from different applications. Many a times it happens that a lot of notifications are of no use to us. So, yes just immediately go and turn off those unnecessary notifications and make your phone hassle-free.

Always keep in my mind organization isn't about perfection, it's about efficiency, reducing stress and saving time and money to improve the overall quality of life. So once in a month just give a complete clean-up to your phone to make it more smart and simplify your life also !!

When it comes to college life everyone's story is different. Everybody follow a different path, comes from different regions, study different subjects which make their college life even more interesting. In fact my college life was nothing like what I had imagined of, college it was much different than that and the experiences I had in my college shaped me to what I am today. I made many mistakes during my college and gradually I learned some life changing lessons from those mistakes which I have shared below:

1. Focus on self-confidence
No matter at which point of your life you're at, one thing you should never forget to carry is your self-confidence. I still remember when I first entered my college and we were asked to give our intro, many students (including me) were so afraid because we, being freshers, were complete strangers to each other and were in dilemma of 'first impression is the last impression' which none of us wanted to ruin. Sometimes I also got frightened with the cross-questioning that teachers used to do but only one thing always helped me was my self-confidence. So, yes always carry your self-confidence with you.

2. Make your decisions wisely
When I was in second semester, whole college was busy in organizing the annual-college fest. Many competitions were organized on different dates and I also participated in one of the competition, but eventually I lost interest in the practice because I didn't like the theme of the play. Practice was used to be done in morning before the college classes and even in the evening. Devoting all of my time in an event which I didn't liked was such a mess for me at that time. I thought to leave the play now and then but the idea of never getting to experience something like this again made me stuck to it.
So, now when I look back in time, I seriously think it would have been a good decision to leave the play, I would have saved a lot of my precious time which I could have utilized in other work. But no problem it came out to me as a lesson that one should make his decisions wisely.  Always remember:
Each decision you make today has the potential to unlock and open doors of profitable benefits or close the doors to great opportunities. Think before you act and make your decision wisely.

3. Be careful of the company you keep
Its very important that you make a good company of friends, its just because you will meet people with different mindset. So, make sure that you choose people who have positive vibes and who look at things with positive mindset. Another point that I always keep in my mind is, its the quality that matters, not the quantity. Its not important that you have ten friends but what is important is that you should have at least one friend with whom you can share your words, your happiness, your problems. This is the person who will always show you the right path whenever you're confused and will always have your back. And I can proudly say that I have such friends in my life and I'm so blessed to have you all !!

4. There will be sunshine after the rain
Pain and happiness are the integral part of cycle of life. One should always remember
After the rain, sun will reappear. There is life. After the pain, the joy will still be here.
2019 was such a terrible year for me. I suffered a lot, my family was going through a very bad phase which ultimately affected my grades in college because I was so much disturbed with all my family problems that I couldn't focus on my studies. I lost many people in my life which I never thought of losing. Despite all the things that were going in my life one thing that I learnt is to have patience and always believe that even after the worst storms the sun will shine again !!

5. Create your own way to success
Do the things that works well for you and not those which everybody is doing. Try those things which you think will help you get closer to your dreams and your goals. At this time one should also not care about the words that others will say.
Like when I decided to launch my own website and started writing my blogs, many thoughts came in my mind regarding what others will say but I didn't paid attention to those because I knew what I was doing and how it will help me in my future. Same thing I would suggest for all of you just do every single thing that you think will help you out.

6. Time management
We have always heard of this that time can't be controlled, if gone its gone forever. So, ya always try to manage your time. I have tried this a lot, even in my third year of college, I used to be late for the morning classes. Staying up late at night, then waking up late in morning, going to classes in a hurry and even without taking breakfast...oof sounds so bad na !! I know. I used to be like this.  But as every problem have solution I also found solution to this problem that why I was not productive? Why I was not able to manage my time?
Because all my things were piled up because of procrastination. So, for managing my time I started planning. Now every morning when I wake up I make a to - do list and plan my day accordingly. I think this is the best thing that I have done for myself and that's how I also learnt how to be productive and I'm still learning to find new ways for this !! One tip for productivity I would like to share with you all is :
Productivity is never an accident. It is always the result of a commitment to excellence, intelligent planning, and focused effort.
7. Love yourself
I know sometimes college life becomes so hectic with lot's of subjects, practicals, assignments, projects, training, extra-circular activities, placements etc. And as soon we're about to complete our graduation everybody starts expecting us to be placed in a good company. But with the increasing competition day by day in every field, this impact students a lot. So its very important for one to take very good care of himself. Enjoy holidays, try out new cafe, go on trips have proper rest and share your feelings and your emotions with your close ones if you feel something is irritating you. So, ya just love yourself. I really do this when I feel tired and just enjoy my own company !!

College has given me many experiences, many ups and downs came in my college life but what made me overcome all the challenges was my hard work and my determination to find a solution to every problem. I always try to see things with a positive point of view and I'm really proud of myself, I love what I'm doing and very much proud of what I'm becoming !!

Love XOXO,

"As a Man Thinketh" is a literary essay written by James Allen in 1903, inspired from the Biblical verse from the Book of Proverbs 23:7 -- "As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he." Allen has described this book as a self-help book that will help you to help yourself. It describes the way our thoughts impact our lives and how we tend to become what we think.

Although this book is all compiled with amazing lessons but some of the powerful lessons from this literary essay are given below:

1. THOUGHT AND CHARACTER

As a being of Power, Intelligence and Love, and the lord of his own thoughts, man holds the key to every situation, and contains within himself that regenerative agency by which he may make himself what he wills.

2. EFFECT OF THOUGHT ON CIRCUMSTANCES

Man's mind may be likened to a garden,  which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild; but whatever cultivated or neglected, it must, and will, bring forth. If no useful seeds are put into it, then an abundance of useless weeds-seeds will fall therein, and will continue to produce their kind.

3. EFFECT OF THOUGHT ON HEALTH AND BODY

The body is a delicate and plastic instrument, which responds readily to the thoughts by which it is impressed, and habits of thought will produce their own effects, good or bad, upon it.

3. THOUGHT AND PURPOSE

Thought allied fearlessly to purpose becomes creative force: he who knows this is ready to become something higher and stronger than a mere bundle of wavering thoughts and fluctuating sensations; he who does this- align his thoughts fearlessly with his purpose- has become the conscious and intelligent wielder of his mental powers.

4. THE THOUGHT- FACTOR IN ACHIEVEMENT

All that a man achieves and all that he fails to achieve is the direct result of his own thoughts. In a justly ordered universe, where loss of equipoise (equilibrium) would mean total destruction, individual responsibility must be absolute.

5. VISIONS AND IDEALS

Cherish your visions; cherish your ideals; cherish the music that stirs in your heart, the beauty that forms in your mind, the loveliness that drapes your purest thoughts, for out of them will grow all delightful conditions, all, heavenly environment; of these, if you but remain true to them, your world will at last be built.

6. SERENITY

The more tranquil a man becomes, the greater is his success, his influence, his power for good. The strong, calm man is always loved and revered. Serene life- a life that dwells in the oceans of Truth, beneath the waves, beyond the reach of tempests, in the Eternal Calm !

"Internet of Things" is much affecting the world in which we live in. From the way we make purchases to the way we drive and to the way we make appointment with the doctor. With the increasing demands of smart technology and smart devices Internet of Things is affecting our lives a lot. From wearable IoT to smart cities Internet of Things is everywhere.

1. What is Internet of Things?
In simple words, "Internet of Things" is a system of inter-connected objects like smartphone, computing devices, mechanical objects, digital machines etc which are provided with sensors and chips to collect and transmit data without human intervention to the servers through the Internet for the analysis purpose so that after extracting the valuable information from the data the right and necessary action could be executed.

2. Framework of Internet of Things
The framework of IoT basically includes 4 layers:

  • Sensors Connectivity
  • Gateway & Network
  • Management Service
  • Application Layer

1. Sensors Connectivity: This layer mainly consists of sensors and chips embedded in physical devices that are responsible for the collection of real - time information. Sensors use low power and low data rate connectivity so that they don't consume much battery or power of the physical device in which they are embedded. There are many different types of sensors which are used as per the need of the application like : temperature sensor, proximity sensor, IR sensor, light sensor etc.

2. Gateway & Network: Gateway & network implies to the set of various mobile communication and computer networking protocols using different technologies that allows the communication between the sensors and the data center or server. These systems supports massive volumes of IoT data produced by the sensors and smart devices. Examples of IoT wireless networks are: Wi-fi, bluetooth, Zigbee etc.

3. Management Service: Management service is responsible for the analysis of data that is being collected by the sensors and transmitted to the servers. It may be possible that sensors are collecting and transmitting all the data to the servers but only few out of that massive amount of data is useful so it needs "filtering" which is done by the management layer.

4. Application Layer: This is nothing but the various fields in which Iot is being used for service enhancement.

3. Applications of Internet of Things
IoT is present everywhere as discussed above from the way we make purchases to the way we make appointments with the doctors. Some of the typical examples of IoT includes:

  • Industries: Industries are using IoT at a very high rate for smart manufacturing and preventive and predictive maintenance.
  • Wearable IoT: The perfect example for this is fit bit.,which is an activity tracker that tracks the distance you walk, run or cycle as well as the number of calories you burn and take in.
  • Connected cars: So, this is from the BMW that earlier they had no systems to track where the car is. It was all done manually and with staffs doing all the paper-pen work but with the IoT, they embedded sensors into the cars and connected them with the Internet via the wireless network protocols which can automatically track where the car is which also had a huge impact on the effeciency.
  • Smart Cities: This is a highly powerful application of IoT where India is aiming towards. What does a smart city consist of? Anything that you can imagine can be included in the smart city from smart surveillance, solar panels, urban security, industrial IoT etc.
  • Smart agriculture: With the increase in population in the coming years there is going to be a great demand of food supplies. Farmers take huge loans from the government to grow and cultivate their crops but sometimes it happens that their crops are damaged so here we can use IoT to give them an automatic irrigation system or anything else which can help them at a good level.

4. Future of Internet of Things
As we can see that almost each and every person is having one or more smart device and is connected to the Internet so in the coming years this is a guarantee that there will be a huge demand of other smart devices and connectivity protocols which allow them to access the applications just at one click. So, here lies the future of IoT where in the industries and other enterprises are trying to develop fully automatic machines and other resources so that there customers don't have to put in much effort in using these devices and which on the other hand also don't affect their health.

Final Words: I hope this article helped you to gain the information on Internet of Things from a very basic level.

Happy Learning !!
